Humble beginnings

Paul Schurman started Paul Schurman Machine as just a small, one-building shop that was used to help repair local tractor parts. Paul brought the skills and pride of Frank Schurman (Paul’s Father), which were passed on through the generations and are exhibited today at our facilities.

From Father to Son

Alan Schurman, Paul’s son, took over where his father left off in running the machine shop.  Alan, a then successful Clark College diesel tech and machining instructor, left his job at the college to run the shop for over 25 years.

Next Generation

Denise Schurman is now the 3rd generation along with Matt Houghton continue to build upon the Schurman machining legacy.

Our Future

We’ve upgraded our equipment, with the importance on acquiring precision CNC machines.  We have added a number of CNC machines over that time, including a 36-foot Ingersoll Planer Mill, Wasino CNC Lathe, Nomura CNC HBM, & Chevalier CNC VTL.
