Paul Schurman Machine, Inc. is a full service machine shop with endless machining capabilities. We have the ability to provide services ranging from the latest CNC machining and turning technology, to large VTL, Horizontal, Boring, and Grinding capabilities. Our machine shop has the ability to react quickly and accurately to your needs whether it is close tolerance components or large machined assemblies.

Quality Control

We offer an up-to-date quality assurance program based on state of the art QA procedures and technology. We also use Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to help maintain dimensional accuracy on parts that require close tolerances to be held.  Critical dimensions and key features are tracked and charted according to job requirements while they are being machined.  All of our measuring instruments, mic sets, standards, and gauges are calibrated annually by an A2LA accredited calibration facility, to maintain our quality standards.  All records are kept and maintained for our customers to see upon request.  All quality assurance inquiries should be directed towards Jesus Reyes (pictured below), our QC Manager.

Production Control

All jobs are scheduled for production and tracked through each stage of the manufacturing process using the latest version of JobBoss production control software to ensure on-time delivery with shipments via our carriers or yours.  JobBoss10 is used as our central computer program for controling all of our services going in and out of our shop facility.  This includes: creating quotes for our customers, making purchase orders to our vendors, and following every process needed to complete a job from start to finish.  This system allows our customers and vendors to easily communicate to us when referencing their job/order.

CNC Engineering/Programming

We support our shop with the latest CAD/CAM programming and engineering software.  This allows our CNC Programmers to take your full blown solids-based CAD file (or even a hand-drawn sketch) from concept to reality.

To better support our customers needs, our software has been upgraded to directly import your CAD file in a variety of file formats such as IGES, PRT, MC8, DXF, DWG, ACIS, PDF etc.  All CNC inquiries should be directed towards Greg Somero, who is our CNC Manager.
